I am a licensed therapist working with adults and specializing with mental health issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, legal involvement/incarceration. My previous work experience including working with clients who experienced bipolar, psychosis, suicidal thoughts/attempts, self-harm, PTSD/trauma, substance abuse, and many have also experienced homelessness/unstable housing, limited support systems, hospitalizations, criminal charges, or have a history of incarceration and involvement in the legal system. Our work together often includes processing life experiences, working on accepting & loving ourselves, exploring identities & values, and gaining skills.
I practice with compassion, care, understanding, and without judgement. I am fully supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community, committed to practicing with a sex positive approach, gender affirming therapy, and helping individuals through their identity journey. I am committed to cultural humility and supporting racial justice, criminal justice, and social justice.
I primarily use elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
